Most of sediment-related disasters occur triggered by rainfall.
When you feel danger during land rain or heavy storm, don't hesitate and escape quickly.
Please be precaution when hourly rainfall exceeded 20mm and/or when cumulative rainfall exceeded 100mm.
Because debris flow is very fast, you will be caught by the flow.
Take right angle to the direction of debris flow when you escape.
Please discuss with your family and decide which shelter everyone should go and how to get there in case of the event of worst. It is not likely that whole family is together at the same place at the time of disaster.
The fear and perturbation will be reduced if every member of your family knows where to escape at the event of worst.
When you hear growly sound from mountains "Yamanari".

When you noticed that discharge rate of river is decreasing during continuous rain.
When you see or hear small stones falling from a cliff.
When you see water spring out of a cliff.
When you see cracks on a cliff.
When you find water from well become hazy.
